As I am writing this, the sun is shining!!! Don’t get me wrong, I love me some good winter and snow and skiing … but it is time for the sun to shine! I have been sitting on my back porch again in what feels like the first time in forever. I got out on my bike the other weekend with some friends and did some hiking near the New River Gorge.
I’m also excited about getting Tot Treks started again. There is something so fun about showing energetic and excitable kids (and their adults!) some of the fun places to explore in the woods in and around my hometown. I love how research is more and more confirming how much better we function when we get our dose of time outside. And my bet is that we are just now at the tip of the iceberg.
